Alphalock Ltd

Terms of use

Draft, reviewed for accuracy against how the platform actually works, not yet reviewed by counsel. Last updated 17 August 2026.

These terms govern your use of Boardmak LMS, operated by Alphalock Ltd ("Alphalock", "we", "us"), a company registered in Nigeria. By creating an account or using a course on this platform, you agree to them.

The service

Boardmak LMS delivers training courses and issues a record of completion for learners who pass them. Courses reach you one of two ways: assigned by your employer or another organisation, or started directly by you through the public course catalogue.

Accounts

Sign-in uses a one-time code sent to your email, so there are no passwords to manage or leak. You are responsible for keeping access to that email address secure, since it is how anyone would sign in as you. Employer-assigned accounts are created by your organisation's administrator, not by self-signup.

Payment

Where a course requires payment, the price is shown before you pay, in Naira, and processed by Paystack. Payment grants access to that specific course; it does not transfer any ownership of the course content itself.

Course integrity

Exam and assessment content is provided for your own individual assessment. You agree not to share exam questions, answers, or your account access with anyone else, and not to attempt to circumvent the platform's completion or assessment mechanics. Certificates and completion records are only meaningful if they genuinely reflect that the named person completed the training themselves.

Completion records and certificates

Where a course issues a certificate, the underlying completion record is permanent and cannot be altered or deleted once issued, including by us. That permanence is what makes it trustworthy as proof of completion. A verification page lets anyone with the certificate number confirm it is genuine.

Intellectual property

Course content, the Boardmak LMS platform, and Alphalock's branding remain the property of Alphalock Ltd or its content partners. Completing a course gives you the right to use that content for your own learning and to hold the resulting completion record, but it does not give you the right to copy, redistribute, or republish the course material itself.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the platform available and course content accurate, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Course content may be updated between versions; completion records always state which version of a course was actually completed.

Liability

Boardmak LMS is provided as a training delivery and record-keeping platform. To the extent permitted by Nigerian law, Alphalock is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the platform. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the platform for conduct that violates these terms. A completion record already issued to you is not affected by later termination of account access.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, we will update the date at the top of this page.
